I just launched a page on Facebook… If you would like to be updated about blog posts from here, like https://www.facebook.com/putthefunbetweenyourlegs

Graphics: Anna-Lena Lindqvist (it doesn’t make sense this small does it? it’s about Stockholm’s bike share system, and some ‘cycle friendly spots’)
Good afternoon kids! I’m excited to announce that once again DN publish a positive article about cycling in Stockholm. This time I’m discussing some trends and give my analysis to the cycle boom. Also, the two pager (paper version) serves a few fact and figures and some cool projects coming up this spring. Read or google translate it (if you do translate you might laugh, but you’ll get the message). Here it is.
Spring’s here!
P.S… Are you cycling Stockholm? Any top five requests for 2012?
Fancy promoting something you like and get paid for it?
Yup, now it’s possible, at least in my hoods. A brand new little company called Bikertize in Uppsala are offering cyclists to ride with ads (that you chose yourself among the companies) With no hassle at all: they mount it for you. I chose to support my dear box where I workout:

(Getting a little crazy doing a one handed bike lift.)

The basket is also part of the deal, exciting news for my good old grocery-shopping-bike.
The benefits? All depends on the company you support. You receive something worth between 50-300 SEK per month. I got… a T-shirt :)
If you live and bike in Uppsala and like the sound of free pizza or a discount on high quality running gear, sign up on Bikertize’s website and off you go!

Infographics are brilliant. Here are some facts and stats about US, Europe, and Portland.
The only thing that is sad is to know how strong the car industry still is in many countries. it’s insane. But just remain calm and keep pedaling, inspire to more bums on bikes - and more decision makers will discover those stats of benefits. Break free from the queues. In the end it’s all about freedom isn’t it.

On our last day in Canada I snapped those pictures before heading to the airport.
